Our Story & Philosophy

At Ananda Marga School, we follow the principles of Neo-Humanistic Education, which emphasizes the balanced development of body, mind, and spirit.

The Visionary Founder

The guiding light behind Ananda Marga's holistic education philosophy

Founder - Shrii P.R. Sarkar

Education must help the individual to grow in all dimensions — physical, mental, and spiritual.

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar

Founder, Ananda Marga & Neo-Humanist Education

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (1921-1990), lovingly known as Baba, was a spiritual guru, social revolutionary, and visionary educationist who founded the Ananda Marga organization in 1955. His profound philosophy of Neo-Humanism became the cornerstone of Ananda Marga School's educational approach.

A master of 14 languages, a prolific writer of over 250 books, and a composer of 5,018 spiritual songs (Prabhat Samgiita), Sarkar envisioned an education system that nurtures not just the intellect but the whole human being — body, mind, and spirit.

His revolutionary concept of "Neo-Humanism" extends humanism to include all living beings, promoting universal love, environmental consciousness, and social justice. This philosophy forms the bedrock of our school's values and teaching methodology.
